Logged 30,000 nautical miles on seven different boats across the Med., Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans.

In the last 20 months:

• ocean refit and prepared 2 boats for the ARC and ARC+
• shakedown cruise/delivery from Med and N. Europe to Las Palmas
• skippered for owner on ARC+, Las Palmas to Gran Canaria, via Cape Verde
• crewed on 2 Panama canal transits as helmsman and as linesman
• assisted shorthanded crews on long legs, to cover for injuries and temporary incapacities
• covered all aspects of boat maintenance including engine routine and breakdown repairs, outboard and auxiliary engine repairs, pump repairs, rig repairs and electrical and navigation equipment replacement following a lightning strike
• planned and navigated a 54ft boat though numerous coral and island atolls in the Marqueses and South Pacific ocean
• Provided instruction and coaching en-route to Yachtmaster Ocean level in astronavigation (using sextant and sightings) and ocean routes and passage planning.
